Emily Peterson is an abstract impressionist artist from Maine.  She is an Ohio native who traveled across the Atlantic and spent time in England before making New England her forever home with her husband and 2 children. 

She considers herself a quirky old soul, consumed with wanderlust.  She began painting as a hobby in 2006 and has taught herself different techniques over the years.  Many of her pieces are inspired by her travels near and far.  She has a love for natural colors and textures and is always trying to find ways to incorporate those aspects into her pieces.  Her art is meant to create a sense of wonder and nostalgia to the viewer.
